GeoGuessr Altview

GeoGuessr Altview is a userscript that adds other street view services to GeoGuessr, a spiritual successor to the Unity Script.

Altview integrates deeply with Street View and works in every game mode, and works with all existing custom scripts, including No Car scripts and the red line script.

Today, Altview supports:

• Tencent Maps, high-quality street view across China
• Baidu Maps, up-to-date and widespread urban street view across China
• Kakao Maps, up-to-date and widespread street view across South Korea

Installation

To install a userscript, you need a userscript manager.

1. Install the Tampermonkey extension in your browser: https://www.tampermonkey.net/
2. If you are using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, you have to enable "Developer mode" for Tampermonkey. Please follow the instructions here.

Then, install the script here.

Trying it out

At this stage there aren't many maps!

Altview works with maps made for the Unity Script, like A China World. It uses Tencent or Baidu coverage depending on availability.
